Recognised for his energy, hard work and attention to detail when farming, Marcus brings that same dedication to rural real estate.
Originally from a rugged hill country farm in Marlborough he has since built up a diverse range of business and practical experience in the wider rural scene.
After gaining a B.com.Ag (farm management & rural valuation) from Lincoln University, Marcus spent five years overseas including working in the cattle and mining industries in Australia and then North America for a helicopter wildlife capture company.
Since 2001 he has been fully immersed in the New Zealand farming industry having held management roles in the sheep and beef sector and for the last ten years has been the managing director of his own farm leasing business specializing in sheep, beef and dairy support in Canterbury.
Marcus is married to Lucy and they live on a lifestyle block near Pleasant Point with their three young children. Outside of real estate and farming his recreational interests include polo, horse trekking and getting out with the kids into the back country.
Understanding the complexities of the agricultural industry and that all rural properties are uniquely different Marcus is well placed to draw on his extensive farming and lifestyle sector knowledge, together with his negotiation skills, to achieve successful outcomes for your property transactions.
